The temporary stay visa for religious purposes can be issued for a maximum duration of 90 days, and it is not possible to request a renewal or extension of the visa once it has expired. However, it is possible to request a new religious visa at a later time if there are still valid reasons for further stay in Italy.

It is important to note that the temporary stay visa for religious purposes does not allow for work activities in Italy. Those who wish to work in Italy during their stay must apply for a specific work visa.
